There's certainly nothing new about this post but... London based designer Ilse Crawford's collaboration with IKEA is impressive. Ilse was this year's guest of honor at the Stockholm Furniture Fair and parts of the collection was on display in the exhibition, which besides was amazing too.
Ilse is well known as putting human needs and desires at the center of all that she does and always with a warm welcoming feeling to it and the result is the Sinnerlig Collection that consists of 30 products made out of natural materials. The collection will be available August 2015.

This quote you can find on Crawford’s site “Creating environments where humans feel comfortable; public spaces that make people feel at home and homes that are habitable and make sense for the people who live in them. It means designing furniture and products that support and enhance human behaviour and actions in everyday life. It means restoring the human balance in brands and businesses that have lost their way.”
